PE Global is currently recruiting for a Project Specialist for a leading multi-national client based in Barrow-in-Furness.

This is an initial 12-month contract position paying £25.52-£30 per hour PAYE.

Responsibilities

• Monitor deliverables to ensure schedule maintenance through engineering, manufacturing, and supply chain.
• Provide internal and external delivery updates and compile communication packs.
• Work with delivery teams, planning, and execution to track progress and mitigate risks to ensure on-time delivery.
• Assist engineering teams in evaluating manufacturing readiness and efficiency, and input into scheduling of new projects.
• Schedule projects and develop best practices for engineering deliverables in product delivery.
• Evaluate workflows and suggest improvements based on departmental synergies.
• Perform data analysis to inform business decisions and improvement projects.

Qualifications

• Studying towards, or hold, a Degree or Masters in a technical field; mechanical or electrical preferred.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office, SAP, CAD, MS Project, and understanding of technical drawings.
