Job summary

Cotech Building Careers is seeking experienced Project and Site Managers for short-term refurbishment and extension projects ranging from £2m to £5m in value, located across London and the southern counties. These freelance assignments require delivery leadership on major contractor-led schemes.

Candidates must have SMSTS, First Aid and CSCS cards, with proven experience working with tier one contractors and managing commercial, education and health projects. Competitive day rates offered.

Qualifications

• SMSTS, First Aid and CSCS cards required.
• Experience with tier one contractors on refurbishment and extension projects.
• Experience delivering commercial, education and health projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead refurbishment and extension projects for major contractors.
• Manage project delivery, timelines and on-site safety.

2025 is quickly drawing to a close, but a bright start to 2026 is just around the corner! Our client is in the final stages of negotiations for a roll out of projects across London and the southern counties. These short term projects are a \"spike\" in normal operations and so require an in flux of temporary Project and Site Managers for refurbishment and extension projects ranging from £2m - £5m in value.

We are looking for experienced project leaders with experience in commercial, education and health projects.

Requirements

• Candidates must have SMSTS, FIRST AID & CSCS cards and be experienced working with tier one contractors and the process and technical responsibilities expected when working for a major contractor.
