DS Smith Packaging in Devizes is seeking a Project Site Manager for a 12-month contract on a major CDM project. You will lead site activities, manage permits, RAMS, deliveries and contractor coordination to ensure safe, compliant delivery on site.

You should hold IOSH Managing Safely, knowledge of CDM regulations, and an engineering qualification (Mechanical or Electrical). Day-to-day duties include site inductions, risk reviews and stakeholder liaison, with opportunities for progression and

• IOSH Managing Safely certification is required.
• Strong knowledge of CDM regulations and risk management.
• Engineering qualification in Mechanical or Electrical discipline.
• Experience reviewing RAMS and Construction Phase Plans.
• Excellent leadership and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience managing contractors on site.
• Competent with MS Office.

Responsabilidades

• Permit Management: Issue and closure of permits to contractors.

Role: Project Site Manager

Location: DS Smith Packaging, Mill Road, Devizes, Wiltshire, SN10 3EW

Hours: Flexibility is needed as you will be working any 5 days out of 7 from 7.30am - 6pm

Salary: 550 - 680 per day

Are you a dedicated and experienced Site Manager with a background in Manufacturing or engineering? We are seeking a highly competent and motivated Project Site Manager to join the DS Smith team for a 12-month contract. You will be instrumental in ensuring the successful and compliant delivery of a major Construction (Design and Management) (CDM) project on site, providing essential contractor support and expertise throughout the project lifecycle.

Responsibilities:

• Permit Management: Issue & closure of permits to contractors
• RAMS: Review all RAMs and approve or reject
• Deliveries: Oversee deliveries & collection of materials, vehicles, skips & machinery
• CDM Management: Update project planner with progress reports, coordinate daily works, daily audits
• Site Inductions: Delivery of all site inductions
• General site maintenance: Vehicle checks, responsible for chemicals and flammables
• Tool box talks
• Incident/accidents investigations

Essential requirements:

• IOSH Managing Safely
• Strong understanding of CDM regulations
• Engineering qualification (Mechanical or Electrical)
• Experience reviewing RAMS and Construction Phase Plans.
• Excellent leadership and stakeholder skills
• Previous experience of contractor management
• Competent with MS office

Desirable:

• NEBOSH
• Experience of AutoCAD
