Job summary

WP Recruitment is seeking a Project Site Agent/Supervisor for a 6-month contract in Newport. The role offers a 40-hour week with some night shifts paid at time and a third, Monday to Friday, with immediate start.

The successful candidate will maintain diaries, monitor progress, support commercial controls and liaise across teams, ensuring quality plans and procedures are followed on civil engineering projects.

Qualifications

• Previous Site Agent/Supervisor experience on civil engineering, highways or bridge/structural projects.
• Strong organisational and record-keeping skills.
• Quality-focused with excellent attention to detail.
• Good commercial awareness.
• Good temporary works awareness.
• Confident communicator able to work with multiple stakeholders.
• Practical understanding of construction delivery and site operations.

Responsibilities

Project Site Agent/ Supervisor

Industry: Civil Engineering

Location: Newport, Isle of Wight

Hours: 40 hours per week, night shift working may be required on occasion ( paid at time and a third)

Days: Monday - Friday

Duration: Immediate start for a minimum of 6 months
