Job summary

MAG (Airports Group) at London Stansted Airport is seeking a Project Planning & Scheduling Specialist. You will provide expert scheduling across capital projects to ensure timely delivery and alignment with the Integrated Master Programme (IMP).

You will develop and optimise integrated schedules, enable enterprise-wide visibility, and support scenario analysis with senior leadership. Hybrid working is offered with a competitive package including a bonus opportunity.

Qualifications

• Degree in Project Management or related discipline is required or preferred.
• APM/ PMI certification (PMQ or CAPM) is ideal.
• Training in project controls, delay analysis or Earned Value Management (EVM) is advantageous.
• Solid understanding of planning principles, critical path method, and programme controls.
• Proficiency with Primavera P6 and MS Project is required.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain detailed project schedules aligned with milestones and contract requirements.
• Resource and cost loading to understand changes in activity and capital outturn.
• Monitor progress, highlight risks, and support executive-level reporting.
• Produce schedule assurance, forecasts, and dashboards for senior management.
• Coordinate with project managers, cost controllers, and contractors to resolve timing conflicts.
• Support what-if planning and scenario modelling for schedule optimisation.
