Job summary

Costain is seeking a 1st line risk management support role to assist project teams in implementing Costain's risk management standards and client requirements. The role involves collating and analyzing risk data, reporting and elevating risk matters through internal governance and client mechanisms.

Applicants must be able to obtain and retain security clearance. A minimum of 3 years residence in the UK is required.

Qualifications

• Ability to apply and operate core requirements of a standard project risk process, including maintenance of risk registers.
• Experience planning collaborative risk activities to identify, define, evaluate, respond to and report risks to project objectives.
• Awareness and use of qualitative and quantitative risk assessment criteria and supporting identification of controls and risk responses.

Responsibilities

• Facilitates and leads all aspects of the risk management process to comply with the risk management plan.
• Authors the Contract Risk Management Plan, including annual updates.
• Facilitates monthly risk reviews with risk owners to ensure quality of risk data is upheld.
• Publishes monthly risk registers.
• Generates monthly reports for key risk roles to undertake responsibilities.
• Upholds and reviews risk product quality against associated risk standards.
• Prepare risk data and undertakes routine risk analysis.
