Job summary

Turner & Townsend is a global professional services firm delivering Performance & Reporting management across infrastructure, energy and defence projects. You will lead reporting teams, define KPIs, and embed best practices to drive project outcomes.

Role requires strong experience in project controls, data analysis, and stakeholder engagement, with UK MoD security clearance and sole UK national eligibility. Strong leadership across diverse teams is essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in reporting on infrastructure projects (Engineering/Defence/Utilities/Energy).
• Experience configuring and setting up project reporting systems.
• Project controls qualification (PMQ / Project Planning & Controls / EVM / Risk Management).
• Experience using data analysis tools (Power BI / Tableau / QlikView).
• Experience leading diverse teams.
• Desirable familiarity with Primavera P6, Active Risk Manager, Ecosys.

Responsibilities

• Drive reporting processes and project controls to improve efficiency.
• Develop performance and reporting plans based on project requirements and best practice.
• Lead rollout of reporting process changes and improvements.
• Define KPIs and performance measures with stakeholders.
• Coach teams on performance reporting practices.

Working alongside project delivery teams as part of our wider Performance & Reporting management team or independently with reach back support to experienced performance reporting professionals, responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, the following:

• Driving implementation & continuous improvement in performance reporting (and interfacing project controls) processes to create efficiency and increasing benefits to our clients.
• Developing performance and reporting management plans for our clients based on project requirements, maturity and best practice.
• Driving the implementation, embedding and roll-out of any identified changes to reporting processes.
• Promoting the benefits and requirements of performance reporting within the project and programme team.
• Appropriately selecting, implementing, administering, and maintaining reporting systems and procedures.
• Lead implementation and change controlling reporting hierarchies and approaches.
• Lead the definition of KPIs and performance measures dictionary.
• Leading teams of project controls / reporting professionals to deliver effective, consistent, assured and value adding performance information to our clients across diverse and complex programmes.
• Present / provide performance recovery recommendations to relevant stakeholders and senior management to support effective decision making.
• Training and coaching clients and less experienced team members on performance and reporting management processes and practices.
• Undertaking line management activities including career development and performance management.

Qualifications

• Experience in undertaking reporting activities on infrastructure related projects (E.g. Engineering / Defence / Utilities / Energy).
• Experience supporting the configuration and setup of project reporting systems.
• Obtained a project controls related qualification (E.g. PMQ / Project Planning & Controls / EVM / Risk Management)
• Experience in using data analysis tools (e.g. Power BI / Tableau / QlikView)
• Experience in leading diverse teams.
• Desired – Familiarity of Project Controls software (Primavera P6, Active Risk Manager, Ecosys etc).
