Job summary

Fortem Solutions Limited is seeking a driven Quantity Surveyor to join the Orbit Housing contract based in Stratford-upon-Avon. You will report to the Commercial Manager and supervise junior staff within a team of 10, focusing on planned works such as re-roofing, kitchen/bathroom replacements, and window/door upgrades.

The role involves ensuring entitlement within contract terms, maximizing cash flow, and providing cost reporting and governance.

Qualifications

• Previous Quantity Surveying experience.
• QS degree or relevant experience will be considered.

Responsibilities

• Secure full entitlement within contract parameters and support commercial negotiations.
• Maximise cash flow through monthly invoicing and resolving client queries.
• Report Cost Value Reconciliations (CVR), Cost Value Comparisons (CVC) and management accounts.
• Govern budgets and provide robust cost control and governance.
• Manage supply chain and use IT systems (Excel, Connect) for data and reporting.
