Job summary

Fortus Recruitment Group Limited is recruiting for a Project Quantity Surveyor to join a growing property services division covering planned maintenance, external works, internals refurbishment and retrofit projects in the South East.

We are seeking a candidate with 5+ years in quantity surveying; an Assistant Quantity Surveyor ready to step up will also be considered. Salary is up to £60,000 plus a comprehensive package, with career progression opportunities and long-term security.

Qualifications

• 5+ years experience as a Quantity Surveyor
• Assistant Quantity Surveyor considered for progression

Responsibilities

• Cost planning
• Setting up and closing out contracts commercially
• Liaise with operations to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery
• Reconcile cost/value reports & profit forecasts
• Attendance at progress meetings with clients
• Regular on-site visits
• Overlook P&L with operational leads
• Cash flow management
