Job summary

WPS in Redditch seeks an experienced Project Quantity Surveyor to support reactive maintenance and voids contracts. You will drive commercial performance, cost control, and forecasting within a fast-paced social housing environment.

Responsibilities include managing costs, procuring subcontractors, valuing works, and preparing final accounts, while identifying risks and opportunities and supporting pricing and negotiations.

Qualifications

• Experience in social housing, repairs & maintenance, property services, or FM.
• Knowledge of NHF Schedule of Rates and reactive maintenance contracts.
• Experience in high-volume, fast-paced environments.
• Understanding of JCT contracts and commercial management principles.
• Strong analytical, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver under pressure.

WPS is looking for an experienced Quantity Surveyor to support the delivery of our reactive maintenance and voids contracts. This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing team and play a key role in driving commercial performance across a fast-paced social housing environment.

The Role

You’ll be responsible for the commercial management of reactive maintenance and voids works, ensuring effective cost control, accurate forecasting, and profitable contract delivery.

Key Responsibilities
