Job summary

TSR Recruitment Limited seeks an experienced Contract Project Quantity Surveyor for a major industrial fit-out in Enfield, Greater London. The role carries full financial ownership from procurement through to final account, ensuring robust commercial performance and risk management on a dedicated contract.

The ideal candidate will have a degree in Quantity Surveying, at least four years of experience in industrial fit-out, and strong JCT knowledge, with CSCS on-site access and advanced Excel

Qualifications

• Degree in Quantity Surveying is essential.
• Minimum 4 years in a quantity surveying role.
• Industrial fit-out sector background preferred.
• Experience with main contractor environments is desirable.
• Strong knowledge of JCT contracts.
• CSCS card required for site access.
• Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
• Advanced MS Excel capability.

Responsibilities

• Manage project cash flows and monthly valuations.
• Certify and finalize subcontractor payments.
• Assess subcontractor variation claims and price client variations.
• Attend weekly progress meetings and liaise with site teams.
• Develop and implement mitigation strategies for financial risks.
• Aim to achieve accurate final accounts.

Job Title: Contract Project Quantity Surveyor

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Contract Project Quantity Surveyor to manage all commercial aspects of a major industrial fit-out scheme in Enfield. This is a dedicated contract role running from now until February 2027. You will take full financial ownership of the project through its delivery and final account stages, maximizing commercial performance and managing subcontractor risk.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage project cash flows.
• Produce monthly valuation reports.
• Finalize remaining subcontractor procurement.
• Assess subcontractor variation claims.
• Certify monthly subcontractor payments.
• Identify project financial risks.
• Develop mitigation strategies early.
• Price client variation orders.
• Agree final account figures.
• Attend weekly progress meetings.
• Collaborate closely with site management.

Experience and Qualifications

• Degree in Quantity Surveying.
• Minimum 4 years experience.
• Industrial fit-out sector background.
• Main contractor employment history.
