Job description

Job Description Summary

At GE Vernova, we aren’t just building infrastructure; we are electrifying the world and leading the transition to a sustainable, carbon-neutral future. We are looking for an influential, solution-oriented Quality Leader to join our team and help us shape the next generation of renewable energy transmission.

If you are a quality professional who thrives on challenge, continuous improvement, and the satisfaction of seeing complex projects reach the finish line, we want to hear from you.

Job Description

The Impact You’ll Make

As our Project Quality Manager, you won’t just be ticking boxes; you will be the heartbeat of project excellence. You’ll champion our 'Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost' priorities and help us foster a culture of 'Step up, Step in, and Step together.'

While this is an individual contributor role, you will be a key influencer, guiding project delivery teams and serving as the primary quality interface with our clients and project managers. Your work ensures that our solutions are safe, reliable, and built to last.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Driving Excellence: You will lead the development and delivery of Project Quality Plans (PQP) across the full lifecycle.
  • Problem-Solving: When deviations occur, you will be the lead investigator, utilizing tools like 8D, 5-Why, and Fishbone to perform root cause analysis (RCA) and ensure long-term resolution.
  • Continuous Improvement: You will animate the project’s improvement journey, capturing lessons learned and managing customer feedback to refine our processes.
  • Leading Audits: You will conduct internal audits and manage project gate reviews, ensuring we never compromise on our high standards.
  • Building Partnerships: You will act as a bridge between internal teams, suppliers, and our customers, ensuring seamless coordination and transparency.

Who You Are

  • A Quality Expert: You hold a degree in Engineering (or equivalent experience) and have a proven track record in quality leadership within complex project environments.
  • Technically Savvy: You are a certified ISO9001:2015 Lead Auditor and have deep experience with it.
  • An Influencer: You know that quality is a team sport. You have the communication skills to persuade, align, and guide teams toward excellence.
  • Resilient: You enjoy problem-solving and aren’t afraid to dive into the data to identify risks and opportunities (FMEA/Risk processes).
  • Tech-Fluent: You are comfortable working with document control systems, and MS Office.
  • What we would love: Additional experience in Gensuite, CQI Certification and speaking an additional language (Spanish, French or Norwegian). All these points would be a plus to your application.

Why GE Vernova?

  • Make an Impact: Work on game-changing projects that literally power the next generation.
  • Grow with Us: We provide world-class development opportunities in a progressive, international business.
  • Flexibility & Benefits: We offer a dynamic work environment with flexible working agreements and a competitive benefits package, including private health insurance.
  • Diverse & Loyal Culture: Join a team that supports one another and is driven by the desire to find the best solutions for our planet.
