Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a dedicated Project Quality Manager to lead quality activities across the full project lifecycle in the oil & gas sector. You will coordinate quality requirements, support tendering, and develop essential documentation to ensure compliance and performance.

You will act as the primary quality interface among customers, suppliers, and global teams, drive root-cause analyses, and guide continuous improvement through audits, reviews, and corrective actions.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality Management, Manufacturing, or a related technical discipline.
  • Significant experience in Project Quality Management, Quality Assurance, or Quality Engineering within the oil & gas, subsea, energy, or industrial sectors.
  • Strong knowledge of quality management systems, auditing, non-conformance management, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Experience supporting large-scale EPC, subsea, offshore, or complex engineering projects throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Familiarity with supplier quality management, third-party inspection activities, certification requirements, and customer quality expectations.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills with the ability to manage quality risks and drive corrective actions.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate across global teams.
  • Willingness to travel as required and commitment to driving a "Quality is on Me" culture

Responsibilities

  • Own and coordinate project quality requirements across every stage of the project lifecycle
  • Review project technical and contractual requirements, performing gap analyses, and supporting quality activities during tendering and project initiation phases
  • Develop, implement, and maintain project quality documentation, including Project Quality Plans, audit plans, non-conformance processes, and inspection requirements
  • Act as the primary quality interface between customers, consortium partners, suppliers, project teams, and Centers of Excellence for all project quality matters
  • Support design verification, third-party certification, inspection, testing, and compliance activities to ensure contractual and regulatory requirements are achieved
  • Drive resolution of customer complaints, non-conformances, technical queries, and corrective actions through structured root cause analysis methodologies
  • Lead quality reviews, customer and supplier audits, risk assessments, lessons learned initiatives, and continuous improvement activities throughout the project lifecycle
  • Monitor project quality performance, reporting key quality metrics, managing quality-related risks, and ensuring effective stakeholder communication
  • Support project handover and closeout activities, including mechanical completion, documentation packages, customer acceptance, and transition to operations teams
