Job summary

Ceto Talent is recruiting a Project Quality Manager for a major international engineering and construction contractor delivering a large-scale offshore wind project. The role will plan and implement the Project Quality Management System and ensure delivery of all Quality Control activities, acting as the focal point for quality across the project.

You will report to the QHSE Manager or Project Director and work minimum three days per week in the office.

Qualifications

• Proven years experience as a Quality Engineer or in a similar role.
• Experience in offshore construction projects.
• Strong auditing, subcontractor management and material storage experience.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and distribute Project Quality Plans and procedures per QMS.
• Plan quality audits to assess implementation of the QMS.
• Conduct external audits of vendor and subcontractor QMS.
• Participate in Project Management meetings to coordinate quality activities.
• Promote and implement contractual quality requirements across the project.
• Support the Project Manager with client and authorities on quality matters.
• Supervise subcontractors and organisations delivering the works.
• Implement actions to prevent non-conformities and address causes.
• Oversee quality requirements for material storage and preservation.

The Project Quality Manager will plan and implement the Project Quality Management System and ensure the effective delivery of all Quality Control activities. You will act as the focal point for quality-related matters across the project and with external organisations, reporting to the QHSE Manager and Project Director or Project Manager.

• Prepare and distribute the required Project Quality Plans and procedures in accordance with the company’s Quality Management System
• Plan quality audits to assess the correct implementation of the Project Quality Management System
• Conduct external audits of vendor and subcontractor quality management systems
• Participate in Project Management meetings to coordinate quality and wider project activities
• Promote and implement the applicable contractual quality requirements across the project organisation
• Support the Project Manager in quality-related matters with the client and relevant authorities
• Supervise subcontractors and organisations responsible for delivering the works
• Implement appropriate actions to prevent potential non-conformities and address their causes
• Oversee quality requirements relating to material storage and preservation

Requirements

• Proven years’ experience as a Quality Engineer or in a similar position
• Previous experience within an offshore construction project environment
• Strong experience in auditing, subcontractor management, material storage and preservation
