Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Information Manager to join our team. The role involves managing project management systems, quality assurance, certification processes, and overseeing information flow across projects, including the development, implementation, and maintenance of the project’s Common Data Environment systems and IT infrastructure. Candidates should have extensive construction and quality management experience, with a strong background in Building Information Modelling (BIM), software setup, IT, and reporting tools such as Power BI.

Qualifications / Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in construction management, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Experience in construction and quality management.
  • Proven experience with BIM implementation and ISO 19650 standards.
  • Qualified Lead Auditor ISO 9001.
  • Strong knowledge of software setup and IT infrastructure.
Relevant Skills and Competencies
  • Proficiency in reporting tools such as Power BI.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
  • Experience in AI implementation and management.
  • Familiarity with AI agents, integration into construction management systems, and experience with software like Asite, Power BI, BIM software packages.
  • Management and integration of APIs to streamline workflows.
Responsibilities and duties

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  1. General Responsibilities
  2. Implement and manage quality assurance processes to meet contractual and regulatory requirements.
  3. Ensure all project information is captured, registered, and circulated using EDMS and BIM 3D models.
  4. Develop and deliver training on information management systems and processes.
  5. Collaborate with project teams across construction, quality, BIM, and IT departments.
  6. Conduct and lead audits to ensure ISO 9001 compliance and other standards.
  7. Maintain compliance with applicable standards (ISO 9001, ISO 19650, ISO 44001, ISO 27001) and project JV certification.
  8. Liaise with client representatives for quality, digital construction, data management, BIM, and IT.
  9. Monitor management systems and ensure procedures support project completion on time and within budget, maintaining JV protection through regular audits.

Position-Specific Responsibilities

  1. Lead BIM implementation and management across projects.
  2. Oversee setup and maintenance of software and IT infrastructure.
  3. Develop and maintain reporting systems, including Power BI dashboards.
  4. Supervise document control, IT, BIM, and information management staff.
  5. Travel as required between project sites.
  6. Manage, communicate, and enforce client requirements for quality, BIM, and IT management.
  7. Facilitate quality sessions with project teams and suppliers.
  8. Advise project management on quality, BIM, and IT procedures.
  9. Monitor compliance with the Quality Management Plan and conduct audits.
  10. Promote continuous improvement and the 'Right First Time' philosophy.
  11. Complete management reviews and analyze non-conformities to prevent recurrence.
  12. Ensure timely KPI reporting and maintain quality registers.
  13. Establish and maintain signatory matrices and competent personnel lists.
  14. Encourage regular reviews of quality, BIM, and IT processes by project teams.
  15. Assist in producing certificates of compliance and manage HAZOP studies or similar analyses.
  16. Promote company values and ensure processes are digitized and properly implemented.
  17. Manage handover and asset integration processes.
