Job summary

Linxon is seeking a Project Quality Lead for the Bulls Lodge project in Chelmsford. You will oversee quality activities on construction sites, ensure contractors meet Linxon\'s quality requirements, and review Project Quality Plans and Inspection & Test Plans with SMEs.

The role requires HV substation project experience, National Grid exposure, ISO 9001 Internal Auditor certification, and strong QA/QC knowledge.

Qualifications

  • Relevant professional experience on HV substation projects and construction sites.
  • Experience working with National Grid.
  • Strong knowledge of QA/QC processes and standards.
  • ISO 9001 Internal Auditor certification.
  • Proficient IT skills including MS Office and document management.
  • H&S experience is an advantage.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee quality-related project activities by contractors on site to meet requirements.
  • Prepare and review Project Quality Plans and associated docs.
  • Prepare and review Inspection and Test Plans with SMEs.
  • Coach and train teams to drive continuous improvement.
  • Ensure site and subcontractors adhere to Linxon quality standards.
  • Facilitate testing on site per the project quality plan.
  • Identify non-conformances and drive swift closeouts.
  • Support customer complaints with timely solutions and reporting.

### **Job Description**Job title: Project Quality LeadLocation: Bulls Lodge, Chelmsford Join US!! We are looking for an experienced and motivated Project Quality Lead to oversee related activities of our Bulls Lodge Project. What will you do?• Ensure quality-related project activities and services are implemented efficiently by contractors on construction sites, thus meeting the project-specific quality requirements.• Preparation and reviewing of Project Quality Plans and associated manufacturing / site documents• Preparing & reviewing Inspection and Test Plans with subject matter experts.• Continuous improvement by sharing your knowledge through training and regular coaching. This includes - communication with our project management, site managers, internal specialist departments, document controllers, and the customer's specialist managers.• Ensure that the construction site organization and subcontractors adhere to the project and Linxon quality requirements.• Facilitate testing activities on the construction site in accordance with the project quality plan.• Identify non-conformances ensuring speedy close outs.• Participate in mitigating negative impacts on the projects and developing and implementing solutions.• Support the project teams with customer complaints, reporting them, and developing timely solutions.• Drive continuous improvement by sharing knowledge through training and regular coaching.
