### **Job Description**Job Title: Lead Secondary EngineerLocation: Glasgow, United KingdomJoin Us!!The Lead Secondary Engineer will lead and work in a skilled team on a wide range of SSEN & SPEN substation projects. The position will focus on the project and tender engineering and its interfaces and scope of work involved in HV - substation design and construction projects, within the Linxon EPC to meet customer needs, legislative demands and standards.Key Areas of Responsibility (KARs):* Overall responsible for managing & leading all secondary engineering activities from project start till the As-Built stage with strict adherence to Project Specifications & Linxon standards including QA/QC, HSSE & Integrity.* Instruct, supervise & coordinate with other engineering team within Linxon (local & remote), internal & external partners, sub-suppliers, secondary engineers & civil engineers.* Review of P&C design packages as per NG/ET/SR188* Input to the development of the DID* Submitting completed Design Packages for Design Compliance Audit* Ensuring all design changes are managed in accordance with the design change management process* Attending Design Review meetings (DRMs) and Hazard review meetings (HRMs) as required* Review and certify the design packages and issue the DCAAR* Lead Secondary design responsibilities including but not limited to SLD, protection and control schemes, interfacing of P&C with new and existing plant and equipment, panel general arrangements, AC & DC distribution systems, battery and battery chargers sizing, voltage drop, cable sizing, signal lists, setting calculation, cable block diagrams, multicore & fiber optic cable schedules, and cables core sheets, SCADA/SCIS architecture development and review of designs. etc.* Coordinate with suppliers and reviewing their deliverables.
