Job summary

Linxon is seeking a Senior Project Manager for a major HV substation project based in the UK. You will lead end-to-end delivery from concept through commissioning, ensuring safety, quality, and contractual compliance across subcontractors and interfaces.

The role requires strong NEC4 contract knowledge, experience managing HV projects, and excellent stakeholder communication to drive project success within a large engineering environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or project management.
• Proven experience managing HV substation or transmission/distribution projects.
• Strong understanding of NEC4 contract mechanisms and commercial governance.

Responsibilities

• Lead the end-to-end delivery of a two stage HV substation project, ensuring safety, technical, and contractual requirements are met.
• Plan and manage project programme, milestones, interfaces, and deliverables to meet customer and business objectives.
• Administer NEC4 contract governance including early warnings, compensation events, change control, and communications.
• Oversee construction activities within HV environments and manage subcontractors' performance, quality, and progress.
• Coordinate with engineering, commissioning, and operational teams to ensure delivery quality and alignment with interfaces and risks.
