Job summary
ALTEN LTD - UK is seeking an experienced Project Quality Engineer to support major engineering and infrastructure projects in a highly regulated environment. You will ensure quality requirements are implemented, maintained, and improved throughout the project lifecycle in collaboration with project teams, suppliers, and site personnel.
The role suits a quality professional with experience in manufacturing, construction, energy, or nuclear sectors who is passionate about process compliance,
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering or equivalent.
- Experience in manufacturing, construction, energy or nuclear sectors.
- Experience with ITPs, inspections and verification activities.
- Knowledge of RCCM requirements and welding documentation.
Responsibilities
- Ensure project quality assurance activities are delivered per requirements.
- Monitor compliance with quality processes and ITPs.
- Conduct quality inspections, verification activities and dimensional checks.
- Support supplier quality audits and site quality reviews.
- Analyse quality performance and produce KPI reports for stakeholders.
- Identify non-conformances and support corrective actions.
- Review quality documentation including inspection records and welding docs.
- Drive continuous improvement and Lean manufacturing initiatives.
- Support projects to achieve quality standards and specs.
