A leading recruitment agency is seeking a Procurement Manager for a 6-9 month contract in Central London. The role involves managing technology procurements and ensuring compliance with public sector regulations. The ideal candidate has strong experience in delivering large-scale technology procurements and can operate independently to set up procurement frameworks. The position offers £650-£700 per day and requires office presence once a week.

Qualifications

  • Experience working across digital services and finance systems.

  • Manage multiple technology procurements within the Back Office Operational Modernisation programme.
  • Transition services from an expired contract to new suppliers.
  • Establish and run procurement processes, including documentation, requirements gathering, and evaluation.
  • Engage with senior stakeholders and suppliers to drive successful commercial outcomes.

Overview

The Project Procurement Manager will lead and deliver end-to-end procurement activity for a large-scale technology transformation programme, ensuring compliance, value for money, and effective supplier engagement.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage multiple technology procurements within the Back Office Operational Modernisation (BOOM) programme.
  • Transition services from an expired contract to new suppliers.
  • Establish and run procurement processes, including documentation, requirements gathering, and evaluation.
  • Engage with senior stakeholders and suppliers to drive successful commercial outcomes.
