An established industry player is seeking a Project Portfolio Manager to oversee and enhance project execution at their Prestwick site. This role involves maintaining a comprehensive project master plan, collaborating with stakeholders, and utilizing lean methodologies to drive continuous improvement. Own and proactively maintain full site integrated project master plan through suitable operational cadence
Effectively communicate with all stakeholders (on site and GE stakeholders) to ensure project success
Work collaboratively with project owners and business leader to maintain project plan data
Coach colleagues to identify risks and opportunities across full project set and report accordingly. Support problem solving where appropriate.
Maintain associated process documentation and engage relevant stakeholders to ensure they are completing compliantly to standard
Utilise lean methodologies and continuous improvement practice tools to improve project execution
Proactively manage changes in project scope, identify potential crises, and devise contingency plans
Coach, mentor, motivate and influence project teams, across all levels, to take positive action and take accountability for their assigned work
Report on master project plan execution to senior leadership team and work collaboratively to mitigate risks and proactively seize opportunities
Prior experience of project management, including managing scope, schedule, and cost on a proactive basis
Clear aptitude with project management tools and associated principles
Proven ability to manage complex projects across broad stakeholder groups to successful outcomes
Excellent communication, collaboration and coaching skills
Project management qualification
Good experience in data analysis
