Job Title: Project Planning and Controls Lead

Location: Falmer (hybrid working)

Salary: up to £60,000 depending on experience

Job Summary:

This role involves line managing a small team of controllers and planners supporting a capital programme. It also requires working closely with Programme Managers weekly to support project delivery within budget and schedule constraints.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Oversee team productivity and ensure support for timely task completion.
  • Collaborate with Programme Managers weekly to support programme management within budget and schedule.
  • Represent the team in meetings with internal stakeholders and external contractors, communicating ideas, updates, and challenges effectively.
  • Build professional relationships with internal teams to support data provision to regulatory bodies, including managing meetings for data approval.
  • Provide key information for monthly reporting to aid decision-making.
  • Analyze data from contractors and present reports to management monthly.
  • Manage a team of Capital Planners and Project Controllers.
Job Qualifications:
  • Working knowledge of the NEC suite of contracts.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Experience working within a PMO.
  • Stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience across complex project delivery cycles.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Attention to detail and data analysis skills.
