Job description

Project Planner – New Hospital Programme

We have recently been appointed as Joint Health Delivery Partner (HDP) for the NHS New Hospitals Programme. As we prepare for this major infrastructure initiative, we are recruiting Project Planners to support our HDP programs and control functions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure schedule data from vendors, suppliers, and contractors is incorporated into planning systems.
  • Maintain accurate and complete schedules, providing independent judgment as a planning engineer.
  • Manage multiple projects across various locations and contractors.
  • Monitor and report on portfolio schedules.
  • Contribute to monthly project reports and specific presentations.
  • Assess schedule impacts of variances and change orders.
  • Develop resource plans for project phases, recommending peak leveling strategies.
Qualifications
  • Experience in project planning within the construction industry.
  • Degree qualification preferred; sector experience essential.
  • Proficiency in Oracle Primavera P6 is required.
  • Excellent communication skills, process adherence, and innovative problem-solving abilities are necessary.
