Project Planner – New Hospital Programme

We have recently been appointed as Joint Health Delivery Partner (HDP) for the NHS New Hospitals Programme. We are recruiting Project Planners to support this transformative, national infrastructure initiative.

Role Overview

The Project Planner will work on high-profile hospital construction projects across the UK, providing performance reporting and analysis support. Responsibilities may include working within a large team or as the primary contact with the client. Key activities include:

  1. Ensuring schedule data from vendors, suppliers, and contractors is accurately fed into planning systems;
  2. Maintaining the accuracy and completeness of project schedules and providing independent advice on scheduling issues;
  3. Managing multiple projects across various locations and contractors;
  4. Tracking and monitoring project schedules;
  5. Contributing to monthly project reports and specific presentations;
  6. Analyzing schedule variances and change impacts;
  7. Preparing resource plans for project phases and recommending peak resource leveling.
Minimum Requirements
  • Experience in project planning within the construction industry;
  • Degree education preferred, with relevant sector experience essential;
  • Proficiency in Oracle Primavera P6 is mandatory;
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
  • Ability to follow documented processes and demonstrate innovative problem-solving skills.
