Duties/Responsibilities

Location: Barrow-In-Furness

Role Overview: To support the project team through ownership of the programme and its lifecycle, collating information, and preparing for invoicing. To interface with project and internal teams, ensuring programme details are ‘real time’ for clear updates to clients and teams. To provide administrative support, ensuring project files and governance are up to date.

What You'll Do
  • Lead triage process for planning, acceptance, and implementation of projects, maintaining decision records and updating the CAFM system.
  • Ensure all projects are current with progress updates.
  • Support procurement with paperwork and compliance, chasing team members as needed.
  • Prepare Excel reports on tasks and invoice status for monthly schedules.
  • Attend project meetings, prepare reports, take minutes, and coordinate arrangements.
  • Support quoting team with program details for approved quotes.
  • Produce reports for customer and internal requirements, tracking project performance and risks.
  • Participate actively in meetings with clients and project teams.
  • Assist Contract/Systems Support team during absences or high workloads.
  • Create and manage project files, including archiving and updates.
Person Specification
  • Good understanding of Project Planning
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Experience or transferable skills from similar roles
  • Smart, presentable appearance and personable nature
  • Strong interpersonal and customer relationship skills
Education/Training
  • Proficient IT skills, especially Excel
  • SAP experience is desirable
