The Project Controller will be responsible for delivering the Planning and Costing of HVDC Scope of work as part of the overall HVDC Project work.

For a new HVDC project in Europe and UK, we are looking for a Project Controller who will support the Lead Project Controls to execute the project according to the strategy and ensure it remains on time and within budget.

Role & Responsibilities:

1. Develop tender schedules using established tools and processes, challenging the team to ensure schedule risk is managed with a competitive offering aligned with historical performance.
2. Develop and maintain the overall project schedule by integrating inputs from all functions, units, and third parties involved.
3. Ensure proper linkages in the schedule to show all interdependencies between contributing parties.
4. Ensure functional owners sign off on commitments and are accountable for their dates.
5. Work collaboratively with the overall project planning team to align schedules.
6. Deliver a high-quality schedule aligned with global standards to accurately represent the project.
7. Maintain the schedule throughout the project by obtaining inputs from all contributors.
8. Drive regular schedule review meetings with the project team.
9. Challenge functional owners on forecasted completion dates to ensure their realism.
10. Provide schedule analysis to forecast risks and opportunities using available tools and experience.
11. Report look-ahead, backlog, and potential delays to highlight risks and prioritize project activities.
12. Create 'what-if' scenarios to optimize execution and evaluate feasibility.
13. Develop strategies to mitigate risks.
14. Drive functional owners to implement risk mitigation actions and follow up on progress.
15. Provide and communicate regular status reports.
16. Handle contractual customer reporting and communicate scheduling matters directly with customers.
