Job summary

Aureos in Andover is seeking a Project Planner on a 12 month contract to support the project team with planning and scheduling to meet client requirements. You will manage the project schedule, track progress and coordinate with engineers and site teams to ensure milestones are achieved.

The role requires extensive experience in civil engineering planning, proficiency with MS Project and Primavera P6, and the ability to produce accurate reporting and risk-informed forecasts.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in Civil Engineering, preferably Highway schemes and public realm projects.
  • Proficient in MS Project and Oracle Primavera P6 for planning and scheduling.
  • Ability to develop level 3 plans as per the WBS and provide reporting views.
  • Ensure compliance with Company Policies/Procedures and BMS processes.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement and execute the Project Schedule and Planning objectives within the contracted scope.
  • Support training on Compensation Events and Extension of Time (EOT) due to delay/disruption/loss of efficiency.
  • Independently apply advanced scheduling techniques and analysis, maintaining critical path plans.
  • Provide accurate progress updates and compare with the plan.
  • Identify and document changes and variations and assist in tracking change orders.

Aureos are currently seeking a Project Planner to join the project team on a 12 month contract basis in Andover. Working closely with the project team, the primary purpose of this role is the provision of Project Planning and Scheduling ensuring the management of planning and scheduling aspects to the Client specification/contract requirements.

Duties/Responsibilities
  • Ensure the development, implementation and execution of the Project Schedule and Planning objectives within the contracted work scope
  • Where entitlement requires to be demonstrated offering support to the projects teams around training on Compensation Events, Extension of Time (EOT) because of delay/ disruption/ loss of efficiency
  • Independently apply advanced scheduling and planning techniques and analysis within the project environment, developing, maintaining, and analysing critical path plans and related schedules
  • Provide accurate progress measurement updates and compare with the plan
  • Identify and document changes and variations of scope and assist in raising and tracking change orders to identify and invoice additional cost and revenue
Requirements
  • Proficiency in MS Project and Oracle Primavera P6
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in the Civil Engineering, preferably Highway schemes and public realm projects
  • Ensure that work is conducted in compliance with Company Policies/Procedures and BMS processes
  • Prepare level 3 plans as per the WBS and produce summary level 1 views for reporting/communications
  • Carrying out critical path analysis and develop milestone tracking systems
  • Planning updates and management templates to measure, monitor and report progress
  • Planning scenarios for options under consideration
  • Analysis on mitigation measures and recovery planning and provide input to risk evaluation/analysis exercises
