We collaborate with academic institutions, digital finance ecosystem partners, and other stakeholders to generate knowledge and apply data-driven insights to inform fintech development and decision-making by central banks, securities regulators, and financial authorities.
Fii conducts research, develops digital tools, and offers capacity building through technical assistance to benefit financially excluded, marginalized, and disadvantaged populations.
Fii emerged from the Cambridge Centre for Alternative Finance (CCAF), incorporated in the UK in 2023. CCAF is a research centre at the University of Cambridge Judge Business School, focusing on technology-enabled financial innovation and supporting evidence-based decision-making.
Fii works in close partnership with CCAF as a Principal Collaborator, leveraging a global network of expertise, academic relationships, and data science capabilities to create impact in the countries where we operate.
