Job Description

Due to significant growth and ongoing success with our clients, we are seeking Project Managers to support our clients in delivering a wide range of high-profile infrastructure projects across London and the South-East region. Based in our London office, you will work with colleagues and client teams, supporting a hybrid working pattern depending on client needs.

Project Managers at Turner & Townsend:

Our Project Managers work across various projects and programmes in sectors such as Aviation, Roads, Rail, Telecommunications, Utilities, among others. We are looking for individuals with the following skills and experience:

• Experience in infrastructure project and/or programme management across the project lifecycle, including project management principles, delivering client objectives, contract management, leadership, teamwork, financial management, project controls, health, safety, quality, and environmental management.
• Strong interpersonal and stakeholder management skills, capable of working with diverse personalities and building trusted advisor relationships with clients.
• Problem-solving, analytical, and numerical skills to understand complex issues and develop workable solutions.
• Drive and commitment to achieving solutions, ability to work under pressure and motivate others.
• Excellent planning, communication, and organizational skills to manage multiple work streams and communicate effectively with senior client representatives.
• Ability to lead, manage, and develop project teams or work streams within larger projects or programmes.
• Creative mindset, curiosity, and a growth-oriented attitude.

Qualifications

Beneficial experience:

• Utilities/water infrastructure project management experience.
• Experience managing procurement and NEC contracts.
• Experience managing contractors, consultants, and advisors on infrastructure projects.
• Familiarity with public sector organizations relevant to infrastructure.

Preferred qualifications:

• Degree or HND in management, construction, or infrastructure-related fields, or equivalent experience.
• Professional affiliation or near-qualified status with APM, ICE, CIWEM, or similar.
• Project management certifications (APM/PRINCE2/MSP).
• NEC Project Management Accreditation or qualifications.
