Job Description

An exciting opportunity has arisen for Project Managers to join our expanding Central and Local Government team in our flagship office in Central London.

We are looking for a proactive and self-motivated problem solver with a logical and structured approach to managing complex projects with multiple stakeholders. Experience in understanding technical inputs from design and contractor teams, as well as some contract administration experience, would be beneficial.

We value team players who recognize their contribution to our business and our clients' projects. Our current projects are in London, Cambridge, Hertfordshire, Surrey, and Kent, with more in the pipeline.

Key Accountabilities
  • Conduct background research, data collection, and benchmarking
  • Lead residential-led or mixed-use projects, including enabling works like highways, utilities, remediation, and public realm
  • Establish effective processes and systems for project execution
  • Monitor and document project progress and performance indicators
  • Track and document changes throughout the project lifecycle
  • Prepare project communication materials and formal reports
  • Liaise with clients, contractors, and designers
  • Attend meetings and draft minutes
Additional Responsibilities
  • Prepare presentation materials for client pitches
  • Input key information into our internal database
Qualifications

Essential:

  • Relevant qualification (construction, real estate, planning, engineering)
  • Full-time availability with flexible working options and home working
  • Ability to travel within London, Home Counties, and South East
  • Strong communication skills (verbal, presentation, written)
  • Self-motivated and able to solve problems strategically
  • Experience working with multiple stakeholders including clients and contractors
  • Knowledge of CDM and site health and safety

Desirable:

  • Engineering background (civil, structural, mechanical, electrical)
  • Understanding of the development lifecycle
  • On-site construction experience
  • Experience with residential-led or mixed-use projects at the enabling stage
