Job description

VANRATH are delighted to assist a reputable Electrical & Manufacturing company with the recruitment of a Project Manager. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a well-regarded company.

This role is based on-site at the company's premises in Cookstown and is a permanent position.

The company boasts a strong reputation and a modern, attractive office environment.

The role involves working on-site from Monday to Friday.

Salary: Fully Negotiable + Excellent Benefits Package, Yearly Salary Reviews, and Opportunities for Progression.

Responsibilities:

1. Managing key projects from conception through to completion, including installation and commissioning.
2. Controlling capital expenditure in accordance with budgets.
3. Leading multidisciplinary teams and subcontractors.
4. Providing technical expertise in water industry projects.
5. Ensuring projects meet technical specifications and client requirements.
6. Coordinating with clients, contractors, and suppliers for successful project delivery.
7. Representing the company at client site and contract meetings.
8. Working with the SHEQ Manager to ensure safety, health, environmental, and quality standards are maintained, including risk assessments and compliance with legislative requirements.

The Ideal Candidate:

1. Holds an engineering-related qualification or relevant subject matter expertise.
2. Has a proven track record of successfully planning, budgeting, and delivering complex projects on time and within budget.
3. Possesses knowledge of industry practices and H&S legislation, including risk assessments and HAZOPS.
4. Is capable of working independently at remote sites or collaboratively with teams.
5. Demonstrates commercial awareness and the ability to identify new opportunities.

Desirable:

• Experience in the water industry, particularly in water/wastewater treatment plant upgrades.
