About the Role:

We are looking for an experienced Project Manager with a strong background in Utilities and Independent Connections Provider (ICP) projects to oversee multi-utility schemes from inception to delivery. This role is pivotal in managing project lifecycle activities including planning, stakeholder management, commercial oversight, and ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and to budget. While remote-based, regular travel to key project sites will be required.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and deliver multi-utility infrastructure projects (electric, gas, water) within DNO/IDNO frameworks.
• Develop project plans including programmes, resource plans, and risk registers.
• Oversee site teams and ensure field delivery aligns with project scope, timelines, and budgets.
• Engage with clients, design teams, ICPs, and subcontractors to drive projects forward.
• Manage substation energisation, civils packages, cable pulls, and DNO authorisations via the site team.
• Maintain project cost control, reporting progress and financials to leadership.
• Ensure full regulatory, health & safety, and CDM compliance.
• Support development of the business’s multi-utility offering and best practice frameworks.

Requirements:

• Significant experience as a Project Manager within the Utilities or ICP sector.
• Multi-utility project delivery experience essential (power, gas, water).
• Strong knowledge of DNO/IDNO processes and requirements.
• SMSTS and NRSWA certifications are an advantage but not essential for this role.
• SAP qualification would be beneficial but not required.
• Proficient in project management tools and reporting.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and commercial awareness.
• Full UK driving licence & flexibility to travel as projects require.
• All travel and expenses fully covered.
