Tempest Jones is supporting a leading international construction and property consultancy with several appointments across its growing Healthcare Project Management team in Yorkshire.
The business is currently involved in the delivery of more than £2.5bn of healthcare projects across Yorkshire, creating opportunities for Project Managers who want to develop their experience on major, complex programmes without having to build their career around projects elsewhere in the UK.
We are interested in speaking with Project Managers through to Associate-level professionals who are ambitious about their career and want the opportunity to work with multiple NHS Trusts across a substantial and growing regional programme.
This isn't simply an opportunity to join one project. You will become part of a wider healthcare team with the scale of workload, client relationships and pipeline to offer genuine variety and long-term progression.
Depending on your level and experience, you will take responsibility for managing healthcare projects through different stages of their lifecycle, working closely with clients, consultants, contractors and other key stakeholders.
Your responsibilities could include:
We are open to speaking with people at different stages of their Project Management career, from established Project Managers looking for their next step through to Senior and Associate Project Managers.
You will ideally have:
Healthcare experience would naturally be valuable, but we are also interested in people who have developed strong project management experience within other complex built environment sectors and can transfer that experience into healthcare.
Few regional opportunities offer this combination of scale, variety and long-term workload.
With more than £2.5bn of healthcare projects across Yorkshire, you will gain exposure to major projects and programmes while working with multiple NHS Trusts and developing experience that can significantly strengthen your career.
The continued growth of the team also creates clear progression opportunities. For ambitious Project Managers, there is scope to take responsibility for increasingly complex commissions, strengthen client relationships, develop leadership experience and progress into more senior positions.
The projects themselves also have a very visible impact. The work being delivered will help shape the future of Yorkshire's healthcare estate and improve facilities for patients, clinical teams and wider NHS staff.
Crucially, you don't need to travel nationally to access that level of work. The scale of the Yorkshire pipeline provides the opportunity to develop major-project experience while remaining focused on the region.
