Description

The Project Manager will oversee the Design and Construction of the High Speed Two (HS2) Infrastructure Maintenance Depot in Southeast England, UK, including three main buildings: an office and light workshop building, and two Over Track Maintenance buildings.

Responsibilities include:

  • Managing the project from start to finish, ensuring timely completion, budget adherence, and compliance with specifications.
  • Developing project objectives, scope, and timeline, and communicating these clearly to stakeholders.
  • Coordinating planning and design during pre-construction and construction phases.
  • Managing resources, monitoring costs, and controlling project budgets.
  • Identifying and mitigating project risks and issues.
  • Building and maintaining relationships with clients, contractors, and stakeholders.
  • Ensuring health and safety regulations are followed.
  • Leading and managing project teams and subcontractors.

Qualifications / Experience:

  • Degree/Master's in Architecture, Engineering, or Construction Management.
  • Experience in construction project management with a proven track record.
  • Knowledge of health and safety legislation and construction technology.
  • Experience managing design and construct projects, preferably under NEC contracts.
