Our government and defence team are extremely busy working on bids and projects both in the UK and internationally. This has created a new opportunity for a Project Manager / Sales Support Lead to support their activities. You might be based from our London offices (conveniently close to Westminster, St James Park, and Victoria stations) or in the west of England where a number of key clients are located; we can offer considerable flexibility around working from home.
We will give you the opportunity to innovate, take ownership, and scale new heights in your career as the department and the company grow.
Reporting to the Director of Government Solutions, you will have a wide range of responsibilities with significant personal growth opportunities.
This will be a highly-varied role, giving you the opportunity to work across the full gamut of project-related activities, from researching tenders, coordinating and writing bids, right through to assisting in delivery.
You will be communicating with clients, coordinating internal stakeholders, and managing fast-moving Agile projects.
This is a great opportunity to learn fast and commit your energy and self-motivation to make a real impact in our progress.
The ideal candidate will have a good understanding of the government and defence sector, including how organisations are structured and how bids and projects operate. You will also have a "customer first" approach and the adaptability to ensure customer success.
You will have a range of project management skills and a very flexible approach to your work: you enjoy variety and no two days being the same.
Since you will be managing multiple concurrent tasks, you need to be someone who enjoys a varied and fast-moving environment and who is looking for responsibility and ownership.
Please note: the ability to work in the UK without restrictions and the ability to gain UK security clearance are both essential.
