NHS Lanarkshire is seeking a skilled project leader to manage a team delivering a range of project management and business support services aligned with priority strategies.
You will implement PRINCE2-based methods, oversee projects from initiation to benefits realisation, and ensure delivery within timescales and budgets while building strong stakeholder relationships across clinical and non-clinical teams.

To be a specialist in and manage a team delivering a wide range of Project Management and business support services which are part of the priority strategies of NHS Lanarkshire.
This includes the management of discrete and/or linked projects in our Directorate from initiation to full operational status, ensuring achievement of agreed benefits within agreed timescales and budgets set by the business/project sponsor.
To implement best practice, utilising the PRINCE2 project management methodology or equivalent and internal frameworks ensuring agreed benefits are delivered within agreed timescales and budgets set by the business/project sponsors.
To establish and implement the Project through scoping of project, development of business case and development and execution of project plan that is acceptable to the project stakeholders.
Implement and maintain high quality Project Management & planning procedures to ensure all Projects under the remit of the department are effectively managed and controlled, to deliver the expected benefits to patients and staff. Provide advice, support and education in this area to the Projects Team and other relevant functions.
Build multi-disciplinary Teams with the appropriate mix of skills and knowledge for each Project (clinical, OD & Training, business analysis, technical etc) and establish strong relationships within teams in order to secure commitment to the organisational goals of each Project.
Establish & maintain effective working relationships with both internal and external stakeholders, to ensure full communication and co-operation with each Project to provide the highest level of Project management support and deliver expected outcomes.
