Project Manager - Public sector experience required

Start Date: 1st July 2025Duration: 12 months with a 12 month extension possible (Outside IR35) Location: Home Based with very occasional visits to Worcestershire area (1-2X a month)Experience - Led and delivered at least three large-scale, successful projects.- Crucial experience integrating applications into the Technology-1 ERP system, the council's core system.- Over 10 years of project management experience, particularly with larger projects.- Experience implementing large-scale projects in the public sector.- Proven ability to join and manage projects that are already well-established.Skills and Qualifications- A project management qualification (e.g., PMP or equivalent).- Theoretical and practical knowledge of project management techniques and tools.- Proficiency in project management software tools.- Expertise in strategic planning, risk management, and change management.- Ability to manage project plans, track deliverables, ensure quality assurance, and handle risk tracking.- Familiarity with Civica Cx and Total Mobile systems is advantageous but not mandatory.Competencies- Client-facing and diplomatic, with strong stakeholder engagement skills- Experience of local government.
