Project Manager (Process Improvement)

Carbon60 are proud to be partnering with Lufthansa Technik Landing Gear Services to recruit for Project Manager (Process Improvement). Lufthansa Technik are a global leading provider of maintenance, repair, and overhaul services for the civil aviation industry.

This position is on a permanent basis and has become available due to continued growth and expansion. As the Project Manager (Process Improvement), you will play a crucial role in driving the company's continuous improvement initiatives, ensuring the successful delivery of projects on time and within budget.

Responsibilities:

- Define and execute complex projects, creating detailed plans and tracking systems to monitor progress against milestones
- Lead cross-functional project teams, effectively allocating resources and managing project financials
- Prepare comprehensive reports, presentations, and KPIs for senior management
- Collaborate closely with stakeholders across the organization to promote project buy-in and alignment
- Establish clear guidelines and governance processes to ensure projects are delivered in compliance with safety and environmental regulations

To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Engineering or Business degree, with a recognized Project Management certification (e.g., PRINCE2, PMP) preferred
- Minimum 3 years of proven project management experience, ideally in an aviation or aerospace setting
- Ability to lead diverse, multi-functional teams and drive complex projects from concept to implementation
- Strong understanding of project management tools and their application in various project types
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences
- High proficiency in MRP/ERP systems and MS Office suite
