Job summary

SLR Consulting is seeking an experienced Project Manager to join our Commercial and Project Management team in Bolton or Stoke. You will lead the commercial delivery of high-impact projects across renewables, infrastructure and development sectors.

Responsibilities include managing budgets, programmes, risk and change, producing client reports and forecasts, and supporting client relationships while pursuing new opportunities. Occasional site visits ensure quality, compliance and HSE standards.

Qualifications

• Degree in a related discipline.
• Experience with construction contractors and delivery.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Proficiency in MS Project and MS Office.
• APM, CEng, NEC or similar qualification (or working towards).

Due to continued growth, we are seeking an experienced Project Manager to join our established Commercial and Project Management team of 11 in Bolton or Stoke.

In this role, you'll lead the commercial delivery of high-impact projects across a diverse portfolio including renewable energy (Wind, Solar, BESS), major infrastructure (HS2, linear cable routes, hydrogen pipelines) and Industrial & Commercial Development projects.

The Role

Responsibilities

• Leading project delivery from tender through to completion


• Managing budgets, programmes, risk and change control


• Coordinating internal teams and external contractors


• Producing client reports, cost forecasts and payment assessments


• Supporting client relationships and contributing to new opportunities


• Undertaking occasional site visits to ensure quality, compliance and HSE standards

You'll collaborate with colleagues across Environmental and Earth Sciences, Planning, ESIA and Engineering along with Global Advisory, on complex and impactful projects, with opportunities for European and international exposure.

• Excellent organisation and ability to manage multiple priorities


• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and MS Project


• APM, CEng, NEC or similar qualification (or working towards)


• A driving licence that permits you to legally drive in the UK is required for site visits
