Job summary

SLR Consulting in Bolton or Stoke seeks an experienced Project Manager to lead commercial delivery on a diverse portfolio including renewable energy, major infrastructure and development projects. You will manage end-to-end delivery, budgets, risk and client reporting, while coordinating internal teams and external contractors.

You'll collaborate with Environmental and Earth Sciences, Planning, ESIA and Engineering teams, with opportunities for European and international exposure.

Qualifications

• Degree in a related discipline.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Experience working with construction contractors and managing delivery.
• Excellent organisation and ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and MS Project.
• APM, CEng, NEC qualification or working towards.

Responsibilities

• Lead project delivery from tender through to completion.
• Manage budgets, programmes, risk and change control.
• Coordinate internal teams and external contractors.
• Produce client reports, cost forecasts and payment assessments.
• Support client relationships and identify new opportunities.
• Occasionally undertake site visits to ensure quality and HSE standards.

Due to continued growth, we are seeking an experienced Project Manager to join our established Commercial and Project Management team of 11 in Bolton or Stoke.

In this role, you'll lead the commercial delivery of high-impact projects across a diverse portfolio including renewable energy (Wind, Solar, BESS), major infrastructure (HS2, linear cable routes, hydrogen pipelines) and Industrial & Commercial Development projects.

The Role

Responsibilities

You'll manage projects end-to-end, ensuring delivery on time, on budget and to the highest quality standards, while building strong client relationships. Key responsibilities include:

• Leading project delivery from tender through to completion
• Managing budgets, programmes, risk and change control
• Coordinating internal teams and external contractors
• Producing client reports, cost forecasts and payment assessments
• Supporting client relationships and contributing to new opportunities
• Undertaking occasional site visits to ensure quality, compliance and HSE standards

You'll collaborate with colleagues across Environmental and Earth Sciences, Planning, ESIA and Engineering along with Global Advisory, on complex and impactful projects, with opportunities for European and international exposure.

• APM, CEng, NEC or similar qualification (or working towards)
• A driving licence that permits you to legally drive in the UK is required for site visits
