Job summary

Mining Remediation Authority in the UK is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead the Water and Abandoned Metal Mines programme, delivering projects that improve water quality, protect ecosystems and benefit communities.

You will manage projects from development through delivery, collaborating with technical specialists, contractors, regulators and stakeholders to bring complex environmental schemes to life, with a focus on budgets, programmes and risk management.

Qualifications

• Requires project management experience across complex environmental schemes.
• Strong budget, programme and risk management skills.
• Ability to build effective relationships with regulators, contractors and stakeholders.
• Experience in environmental, water, wastewater or civil engineering projects is valuable.

At the Mining Remediation Authority, we're tackling the environmental impact of historic coal and metal mining by delivering innovative water treatment and remediation projects across Britain.

We're looking for an experienced Project Manager to join our Water and Abandoned Metal Mines programme, leading projects that improve water quality, protect ecosystems and create lasting environmental benefits for communities.

You'll manage projects from development through to delivery, working with technical specialists, contractors, regulators and stakeholders to bring complex environmental schemes to life. From developing new mine water treatment schemes to refurbishing existing assets, you'll play a key role in delivering projects that make a visible difference to the environment.

We're interested in candidates with project management experience, strong budget, programme and risk management skills, and the ability to build effective relationships across a wide range of stakeholders. Experience within environmental, water, wastewater or civil engineering projects would be particularly valuable.
