Barnsley Football Club is seeking a passionate Project Manager to join the Projects & Participation Team. This role involves supporting Higher Education programmes in partnership with the University of South Wales, aiming to enhance student engagement and community impact through the power of football. Responsibilities include delivering coaching, ensuring charity compliance, and providing academic support. Candidates should possess mentoring skills and have a background in academic support or community football. This is a 10-month fixed-term (maternity cover) remote position primarily for candidates based in North-West England.

Job Outline
Within the Project & Participation Team and wider EFL in the Community, the Project Manager will support Higher Education (HE) programmes delivered by EFL in the Community in partnership with the University of South Wales. You will provide academic support for these programmes across Football Club charities, monitoring and supporting students’ progress and engagement. You will also assist with monitoring, evaluation, quality improvement, and development, aligned with USW’s success metrics such as recruitment, retention, satisfaction, and progression.
