Job summary

SSE is seeking a Project Manager within the SSEN-T Offshore Delivery team to lead execution on the Longside AC 400kV/132kV substation project located at Netherton Hub, Peterhead. You will work closely with the Lead Project Manager and Senior Project Manager to progress the delivery of a large-scale capital program.

The role is permanent, full-time with Flexible First options and offers a car/car allowance, bonus potential and a benefits package to support finances, wellbeing and family.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering large capital infrastructure projects during execution phase.
• Knowledge of safety management systems, CDM regulations and contracts (NEC3).
• Strong interpersonal and written communication with governance experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead delivery of packages within a £600m+ civil, building and substation project.
• Ensure objectives align with cost, programme and safety targets under NEC3.
• Interface with contractors, consultants and internal project support functions.
• Build relationships with stakeholders and communities for sustainable delivery.
