SSE is seeking a Senior Project Manager to deliver 400kV & 132kV substations in the Lewis Hub as part of Pathway to 2030. You will lead a multi-disciplinary team and framework partners under ASTI, reporting to the Lead Project Manager.
The role offers on-site work typically every 2nd week on Lewis, with a salary range £59,800–£89,800 plus car/allowance and bonus, plus benefits. Opportunities for progression exist within the program.
Base Location: Glasgow, Perth, Inverness or Aberdeen. If you are interested in relocating to the Western Isles, we are happy to discuss further.
Due to the location and scale of our projects, there is requirement for the Senior Project Manager to be on site, typically every 2nd week on Lewis (accessible by direct flights to & from Glasgow, Edinburgh & Inverness)
Salary: £59,800 - £89,800 + car / allowance + performance-related bonus + a range of other benefits to support your family, finances and wellbeing.

We are looking for a Senior Project Manager to join our SSEN Transmission, Offshore Delivery Team to deliver a 400kV & 132kV substation package within the Lewis Hub project, which forms part of our Pathway to 2030 Programme. Reporting into the Lead Project Manager, you will be responsible for the delivery of 400kV & 132kV substation package. This will include managing a multi-disciplinary project team and framework supply chain partners under the Accelerated Strategic Transmission Investment (ASTI) framework.
The scale of our portfolio of projects are large and is likely to grow in the coming years, meaning there will be opportunities for progression within the business.
