Job summary

SSEN Transmission is seeking a Project Manager for the Longside AC 400kV/132kV substation project at Netherton Hub, Peterhead. You will drive execution phase delivery, interfacing with Lead and Senior Project Managers to ensure safe, cost-effective progress.

The role focuses on managing packages within a £600m+ project, ensuring alignment with cost, schedule, and safety targets, while building relations with contractors and stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering large capital infrastructure projects through execution phase.
• Knowledge of safety management, CDM, planning, cost, risk, and design within NEC3 contracts.
• Strong verbal and written communication and governance understanding.
• Engineering or PM qualification or equivalent experience, ideally with professional membership.

Responsibilities

• Deliver packages within a £600m+ project with NEC3 governance.
• Interface with internal teams and external contractors for on-time delivery.
• Manage costs, schedule, and safety targets for delegated packages.
• Build productive relationships with contractors, stakeholders and communities.
