Job summary

Greene King, the country’s leading pub company and brewer, is seeking an experienced Project Manager to drive IT Projects and changes within our Tech Delivery team. You will plan, manage and deliver initiatives on time, to budget and to required quality, collaborating with internal teams and external partners.

You will own project plans, identify and mitigate risks, manage stakeholders and communicate progress regularly.

Qualifications

• Own and manage the delivery of IT Projects and changes.
• Create and manage Project Plans, ensuring that Projects are delivered on time, to budget, and of appropriate quality.
• Identify and manage risks and issues, escalating as appropriate and owning them through to resolution.
• Driver - some travelling to our sites will be a part of your job.
• Identify and manage internal and external project dependencies.
• Deliver high-quality software solutions to enable development through internal and external partner resources.
• Manage Business Stakeholders, building strong relationships, providing regular updates, and seeking direction where required.

Responsibilities

• Lead and deliver IT Projects and changes within Greene King's Technology team.
• Develop and maintain project plans, timelines, budgets, and milestones.
• Identify risks and issues, implement mitigation strategies, and escalate when needed.

Job Description

As a Project Manager in our core Technology team, you will play a critical part in delivering Greene King’s ambitions through the planning, management, and execution of IT Projects and Changes. You will have a strong background in Project Management based on modern technologies and industry best practices.

Qualifications

• As Project Manager, you will…
  • Own and manage the delivery of IT Projects and changes.
  • Create and manage Project Plans, ensuring that Projects are delivered on time, to budget, and of appropriate quality.
  • Identify and manage risks and issues, escalating as appropriate and owning them through to resolution.
  • Ideally you must be a driver - some travelling to our sites will be a part of your job
  • Identify and manage internal and external project dependencies.
  • Deliver high-quality software solutions to enable development through internal and external partner resources.
  • Manage Business Stakeholders, building strong relationships, providing regular updates, and seeking direction where required
    • A demonstrable passion and drive for technology modernisation, delivery, and best practice.
    • Significant experience in managing the delivery of IT Projects and changes.
    • Strong interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills.
    • Highly self-motivated with a keen attention to detail.
    • Ability to effectively prioritise tasks in a high-pressure environment
