Job summary

The Shrewsbury and Telford Hospital NHS Trust is seeking an enthusiastic and creative Project Manager to join the Clinical and Scientific Services Management Team. This internal post focuses on delivering major projects and transformation work across Oncology, Haematology, Pathology, Pharmacy, Radiology, Cardiorespiratory and Health & Safety services at the Trust's sites.

You will lead diverse teams, apply change management tools, and support improvement across the division, in collaboration

• Make informed judgements as to the most effective improvement tools and techniques to apply in order to deliver the desired outcomes and apply these as appropriate.
• Work within, and provide support to, diverse teams, demonstrating sound leadership capabilities in managing change to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the services within the programme scope.
• Promote a positive change management culture within the Division.
• Coach and support colleagues in project management and improvement approaches and tools used by the team

We are looking for an enthusiastic and creative Project Manager to join the Clinical and Scientific Services Management Team.

The Clinical and Scientific Services Division covers Oncology & Haematology, Pathology, Pharmacy , Radiology , Cardiorespiratory and Health & Safety teams.

We are a friendly, innovative and business focussed team located at the two main sites within the Trust at The Royal Shrewsbury Hospital, The Princess Royal Hospital, and the Community Diagnostics Centre, Telford; with a strong and committed leadership team, led by Anna Martin, Director of Operations and Dr Angus McGregor Divisional Medical Director.

Partnership working is key to this role. Working with internal and system partners, you will support the implementation of major projects and transformation work across the Division.

Main duties of the job
