Project Manager - Integration and Special Projects

Join to apply for the Project Manager - Integration and Special Projects role at Ipsum.

Working as part of the centralised Project Management Office (PMO), you will be responsible for managing the integration of new businesses into the Ipsum Group following mergers or acquisitions. This role ensures seamless operational, cultural, and technological integration aligned with Ipsum’s strategic goals.

As part of the PMO, you will aim to:

  • Support service delivery.
  • Govern projects, programmes, and services effectively.
  • Lead change management initiatives.
  • Deliver the Ipsum Way of Service across projects.

Principal Accountabilities:

Project & Stakeholder Management

  • Plan and execute integration projects.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams and align stakeholders.
  • Develop roadmaps and key deliverables.
  • Identify and mitigate risks.
  • Facilitate adoption of new structures and processes.
  • Communicate changes effectively.

Resource Allocation

  • Manage resources across projects.
  • Coordinate training and knowledge transfer.

Standardisation & Governance

  • Implement frameworks and governance models.
  • Ensure process adherence.

Reporting & Performance Monitoring

  • Provide progress updates to senior management.
  • Track success using KPIs.
  • Capture lessons learned.
  • Suggest improvements for efficiency.

About You

Qualifications & Memberships:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent.
  • PRINCE2 Practitioner/ APM Project Management Qualification or similar.
  • Six Sigma Black Belt (beneficial).
  • Full UK driving license.
  • Experience in post-merger integration or business transformation.
  • Knowledge of Agile, Lean Six Sigma, or similar methodologies.
  • Proven project management skills.
  • Understanding of change management principles.
  • Utilities industry experience (preferred).

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Methodical problem-solving approach.
  • Time management and prioritization skills.
  • Team player with good organizational skills.
