Project Manager - Integration and Special Projects

Location: Wakefield

Your New Job

Working as part of the centralised Project Management Office (PMO), you will be responsible for managing the integration of new businesses into the Ipsum Group following mergers or acquisitions. This role will ensure seamless operational, cultural, and technological integration aligned with Ipsum’s strategic goals.

As part of the PMO, you will aim to:

• Support the delivery of our services.
• Govern our projects, programmes, and services effectively.
• Be a guiding authority on change management best practices.
• Deliver the Ipsum Way of Service across all projects.

Reporting & Performance Monitoring

• Provide senior management with updates on integration progress.
• Track and measure success using KPIs.

Additional responsibilities include:

• Capturing lessons learned for future M&A processes.
• Recommending improvements to enhance efficiency.

Qualifications and skills:

• Utilities industry experience (preferred).
• Good organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure, make decisions amidst competing priorities, and remain resilient.
• Strong interpersonal skills and stakeholder relationship management.
• Experience managing complex projects with multiple stakeholders.
• A proactive approach with a passion for continuous improvement and process simplification.
