We are seeking a skilled and knowledgeable Project Manager to oversee low-rise residential projects valued up to £15m. This role involves the overall management and control of new build housing schemes for local authorities and social housing providers. You will ensure the highest standards of health and safety, timely completion, and adherence to budget and specifications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Pre-Construction: Provide technical input for PQQs and tender submissions, including construction methods, value engineering, and programming.
  • Construction Stage: Lead the project team to ensure compliance with company policies and sustainability strategies. Oversee health, safety, welfare, and environmental compliance.
  • General: Identify issues proactively, maintain confidentiality, and represent Henry Boot Group’s best interests.
  • Personnel & Development: Support and mentor reporting staff, ensuring their professional development and adherence to job roles.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Essential: Relevant Degree/HNC, previous experience in leading residential construction projects, and management experience.
  • Desirable: Professional membership (e.g., CIOB), SMSTS/SSTS, CSCS card, and other relevant certifications.

Skills and Abilities:

  • Essential: Excellent communication, leadership, and teamwork skills. Strong technical ability, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills. Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks.
  • Desirable: Experience in client management, supplier relationship management, and commercial awareness.
